Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), via constituent company NSS Group, has completed a project to supply hire access equipment at the Women’s British Open golf tournament.

The 2024 AIG Women’s Open was played from 22 to 25 August at the Old Course at St Andrews in St Andrews, Scotland. It was the 48th Women’s British Open, the 24th as a major championship on the LPGA Tour, and the fifth championship held under a sponsorship agreement with AIG. It was the third Women’s British Open to be hosted at St Andrews. Lydia Ko was the champion.

NSS Hire provided the necessary access equipment to enable broadcasters to capture competitive play so that fans around the world could enjoy a range of great pictures throughout the tournament.

The 2024 AIG Women’s Open is the latest in a long line of high-profile events for which NSS Hire has provided specialist access equipment. It recently hired out specialist powered access platforms to the Czech Open 2024. At the start of July, its services were in demand at the Wimbledon Championships. From 26-30 June, its MEWPs enabled broadcasters to capture a wide variety of footage of this year’s Glastonbury music festival. Earlier the same month, on Saturday 15 June, it supplied truck-mounted access systems to assist with the broadcast of the Trooping the Colour ceremony in The Mall.
