The Access and Safety division of Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) will be called on to ensure the safety of one of the West End’s most exciting new business addresses.
St James’s Market, which has a long history of retail and fine dining and was home to the aristocracy in the 17th century, has undergone significant investment and redevelopment.
In partnership with Oxford Properties, The Crown Estate has reinvented St James’s Market, introducing more than 210,000sq ft of office space along with shops and restaurants centred around a new public square. A long-term investment strategy includes the refurbishment of two historic blocks – 14-20 Regent Street and 52-56 Haymarket – alongside the construction of new buildings in the heart of the West End. The £500 million investment programme will enhance and protect St James’s future and build on its past.
Working on behalf of client NG Bailey, PTSG’s fall arrest teams will attend both Nº1 and Nº2 St James’s Market to test and certify ladders on both sites.
In addition to new, modern office accommodation, St James’s Market boasts six flagship stores for best in class lifestyle and fashion brands, and seven new restaurants, all set within over half an acre of revitalised public space.
