Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), via Total Environmental Compliance (TEC), has successfully completed a water treatment project within the education sector.
A modern secondary school building, constructed in 2019 was experiencing continual water pressure and temperature issues. There was a temperature variance of >two degrees between source and outlet and the incoming pressure was 1.5bar, not adequate for a site of that scale.
The specialist team from TEC carried out a thorough site survey to propose a range of suitable solutions that would work within the confines of the site restrictions. Its engineers installed a CWST tank (11,717L) and a 2′ Twin Variable Speed Vertical Booster Pump Set, customising the installation to fit within the limited floor space area.
This project, delivered within budget and timeframe, saw TEC working closely with multiple specialists to coordinate a seamless installation alongside its tank manufacturers, PTSG Electrical Services Ltd and EFAFLU UK Ltd (booster set commissioners).
The pressure and temperature issues have been resolved; the system now operates at 3.5bar across the estate and the temperature is within the two-degree variance.
