Two members of PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will be skydiving from 15,000 feet to raise money for SSNAP – a charity in Oxford which helps sick new-borns and their parents.
SSNAP (Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme) founded in 1982, has been supporting the New-born Care Unit at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford ever since. The unit can care for up to 56 babies at any one time and is a Level 3 Centre. John Radcliffe Hospital looks after the most sick and premature babies from across the Thames Valley.
SSNAP provides practical and emotional support to parents as well as funding medical equipment, nurse training and life-saving research.
Paul Alder, one of the two skydivers, benefited from the help of SSNAP when his son, Henderson, was born at 33 weeks. He said: “SSNAP were amazing with the care and support they gave us.”
