Two people from Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) took part in the Mental Elf 5k at Trentham Gardens, North Staffordshire, on Sunday 1st December.

Mental Elf is a festive run for everyone – both seasoned runners and amateur strollers. Fancy dress is encouraged and participants can even bring their dogs. The important part of the event is the opportunity to raise money for the charity ‘Mind’.

Founded in 1946 as the National Association for Mental Health, Mind offers information and advice to people with mental health problems and lobbies government and local authorities on their behalf.

Despite the wet conditions on Sunday 1st December, it proved to be a wonderful, bright and festive day. £4,600 was raised in total, which is a phenomenal amount.

Both Amy Tongue, Labour Controller in the Test & Inspection section of PTSG’s lightning protection division, and Andrew Smith, Operations Manager for PTSG Electrical Services Ltd took part in the festive run. Congratulations to both.
