An Electrical Services professional from Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) recently completed the Moonwalk London 2023.
The event is described as the “iconic, original and fun night-time walk organised by grant-making breast cancer charity ‘Walk the Walk’”. It started in 1996 when just 13 women power-walked the New York Marathon in their bras to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. It is now a thriving, multi-million, international charity that has raised over £100 million for vital breast cancer causes.
The Moonwalk London took Paula Edwards of PTSG Electrical Services Ltd past Battersea Power Station that had been lit up in pink in honour of the charity walkers. The site is also significant as PTSG’s electrical engineers installed a bespoke lightning protection system there during its transformation into a mixed-use neighbourhood.
