Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist fire solutions for the world’s largest online retailer and marketplace.
Founded in 1994 as an online marketplace for books, the company is now a household name in online retail. It has since expanded into a multitude of product categories, a strategy that has earned it the moniker The Everything Store.
As of 2023, it is the world’s largest online retailer and marketplace, smart speaker provider, cloud computing service through AWS, live-streaming service through Twitch, and Internet company as measured by revenue and market share.
The client has sites the length and breadth of the UK, with a corporate office in Manchester, AWS data centres in London and more than 20 state-of-the-art fulfilment and distribution centres.
In this contract, engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will install fire alarm systems at sites in the following locations:
- Doncaster
- Kegworth
- Mansfield
PTSG Fire Solutions is the largest of the Group’s five divisions and will provide specialist fire solutions to the retailer. It boasts a comprehensive range of fire and security solutions for customers in all industry sectors, including: dry and wet risers, fire hydrants and pumps, sprinkler systems (and sprinkler pump maintenance), fire detection and life safety systems, fire and smoke damper inspection and testing, security systems, passive fire services, ventilation and ductwork – as well as support service maintenance.
