Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is to provide specialist electrical services at Olympia London, which is to become a world-leading cultural hub.
Olympia London is a 134-year-old venue that is undergoing an enormous development. The vision is to create a centre for creativity and innovation that will celebrate British heritage while ensuring the capital has a world-class events space for generations to come.
Key features of the project include:
- 1,500-seat theatre
- A 1,000-seat performing arts venue
- Two hotels
- A four-screen cinema
- 670,000sq ft of creative office space, including new co-working space
- Upgrades to the existing spaces to turn Olympia London into one of the world’s top exhibition and event centres
- A 200,000sq ft logistics centre
PTSG is proud to be involved in this prestigious project. Engineers from its Electrical Services division will install a brand new lightning protection system at the redeveloped venue, providing vital safeguards for the future.
The project will see around 3,000 construction jobs created during its five-year duration, as well as 5,400 new jobs for Hammersmith and Fulham and £9 million of annual consumer spending in the London Borough.
