Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has secured a contract to install dry riser systems at the new Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre (DNRC) in Stanford-on-Soar, near Loughborough.

PTSG’s Electrical Services division will deploy engineers to the site to install 21 new dry riser systems to help protect the building in the event of a fire.

The DNRC is a clinical rehabilitation centre for the armed forces, veterans and civilians, which is currently being constructed on the Stanford Hall Estate in the Midlands. Set in 358 acres of parkland, the centre will take three years to be built and opened.

The £300 million centre will house some of the nation’s most technologically advanced facilities, including an integrated treatment zone with gyms and pools, and will offer interventions ranging from physiotherapy and prosthetic limbs to specialist areas for mental health.

There will also be a gait laboratory to help patients walk again, outdoor trails, sports pitches and running tracks, while the hall will house training, education and administration facilities.

PTSG is the leading specialist installer of wet and dry riser systems in the UK. Since acquiring UK Dry Risers Maintenance Ltd, the group is now able to offer a full package of maintenance services as well as installations.
