Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to provide specialist Access & Safety services for a restoration program in Westminster, central London.
Dolphin Square is a block of private flats with some ground floor business units near River Thames in Pimlico, Westminster. Builders completed its construction between 1935 and 1937. Until the building of Highbury Square, it held the title of the most developed garden square in London built as private housing.
A restoration programme is underway to assess every aspect of Dolphin Square. This is to meet the demands and expectation of London living in the 21st Century. This ranges from the use of space and energy to the care of our biodiverse environment.
With necessary planning consents now granted by Westminster City Council, the works to the apartments, utilities, services and windows are now underway in Rodney, Duncan and Beatty Houses.
Engineers from PTSG Access & Safety Ltd will install rope access and fall protection systems to the buildings in Westminster. This will safeguard maintenance operatives working at high level at the residential complex.
Operatives from the Group’s five business divisions have experience working on historic and period properties. Its engineers have extensive knowledge of integrating any new systems and equipment into old buildings. They do this in a way that complements the original aesthetic.
