Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been assigned to deliver a specialist electrical services solution at a new Amazon delivery station in Essex.
The station is in Harlow, and will create over 30 permanent jobs as well as over 100 opportunities for delivery roles. The retail giant hopes the 7,000-square-metre building will be fully operational by summer 2021 and will serve customers based in the area. Packages are shipped to a delivery station from neighbouring Amazon fulfilment and sortation centres, which are then placed into delivery vehicles and delivered to your door.
Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd will deliver a brand-new lightning protection system at the new delivery station, which will ensure the structure and all staff remain safe in the event of an electrical storm.
PTSG has delivered specialist services for Amazon on a number of previous occasions. Last year, engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd installed a new fire alarm system in Amazon’s huge warehouse in Swindon. This highlights the way in which PTSG creates sustainable relationships with its customers, and can deliver multiple services to meet their varied requirements.
