Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has employed drone technology to add another dimension to its roof survey service.

Engineers from PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd, one of the Group’s four specialist divisions, used a drone to take video and photographic footage of the roof of Brunswick Shopping Centre in Westborough, Scarborough. This gave the client an extremely detailed picture of the roof, highlighting any remedial repairs that may be needed.

Brunswick Shopping Centre is in the centre of Scarborough, on the coast of North Yorkshire. It was built on the site of a former Debenhams store, which is still an anchor tenant – along with over 30 other retailers including Argos and New Look. It has an annual footfall of over 7 million people.

Thierry Schoen, Sales Director of PTSG Building Access Specialists, commented: “Roof drone surveys are another ways in which we help our clients to plan ahead for maintenance work. Thanks to the great level of detail provided by the drone footage, clients can see the exact condition of their buildings and any work we can deliver that will ensure they remain in first-class condition.”

PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd provides a range of high-level services including window and cladding cleaning, gutter and fascia cleaning, roof and masonry repairs, installations and interior cleaning for clients in all sectors.
