Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to provide specialist electrical services at Whitecraig Rugby Club in Scotland.
Whitecraigs Rugby Football Club is a rugby union club based in Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire,. The team competes in Scottish National League Division Two, the third tier of Scottish club rugby. Whitecraigs formerly played its rugby in Deaconsbank.
Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd are carrying out repairs to the lightning protection system in place at the facility.
PTSG is relied upon to test, inspect and maintain lightning and surge protection systems at buildings and structures of all kinds throughout the UK. This includes sports stadia and venues, including many in other parts of Scotland. Last year, PTSG Electrical Services Ltd was contracted to carry out a test and inspection of the lightning protection system at Hamilton Academicals FC, in South Lanarkshire. Also in 2021, engineers from PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd completed a high-level project to paint the structural roof support trusses in place at the stadium of Heart of Midlothian football club.
