Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has been called to the iconic Barbican Theatre to repair the site’s access and safety equipment.

The theatre is part of the Barbican Centre in London’s famous Barbican Estate, built during the 1960s and 1980s. The Grade II-listed site is a prominent example of British brutalist architecture, and the centre is a hub for music concerts, theatre performances, film screenings and art exhibitions.

PTSG’s Access & Safety engineers were called to the site to repair the anchor fixings used to access the upper levels of the theatre to carry out repairs and maintenance. Regular testing and repairs are essential to guarantee the safety of those using the access equipment, and PTSG’s comprehensive certification ensures nothing is missed.

PTSG provides maintenance, inspection, testing and repair services for all types of equipment including building maintenance units, gantry systems, cradle systems, monorail systems and lifting equipment. The Group’s Access and Safety division is recognised as the largest provider of cradle maintenance services for permanently installed suspended access equipment in the UK.
