Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has secured a contract to provide sprinklers in a major new development in Plumstead and Thamestead, East London.
In May 2021 Royal Borough of Greenwich granted planning permission for redevelopment of the site known as Plumstead West Thamesmead. located between Pettman Crescent, Nathan Way, and Hadden Road. The new development, named Lombard Square, will deliver 1,913 new homes. It will also provide 47,071 square feet of industrial, community, commercial and employment space. This surrounds a new 1.8-acre four seasons public park.
The development will become a real driver of change for Plumstead and Thamesmead. It will support wider plans to deliver new homes in the area over the next 30 years. The growth of local industry to the East of the development and a rich cultural programme.
In 2023, engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd installed commercial sprinklers for Phase 1 of the development in Thamestead, covering Blocks 2, 3 and 7. In this new contract, PTSG’s engineers will install sprinklers in Blocks 4, 5 and 6.
