Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has completed a specialist electrical services project at The Stiwt, an historic theatre in Wrexham, Wales.
The Stiwt is a beautiful 450 seat proscenium arch theatre plus three flexible event spaces, built and maintained by, with and for its community.
The Miners Welfare Organisation levied 1p a ton on extracted coal in the harsh years of the depression between 1924 and 1926 at a cost of almost £18,000. It was supported and run on a daily basis by subscription of 2p per week from the meagre wages of hard-working miners who managed to raise another £20,000.
As an arts centre, it is dedicated to delivering a quality, innovative, and culturally encompassing programme of events and community led arts based projects.
Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd have completed a test and inspection of the lightning protection system in place at The Stiwt. This work is required by law to ensure the system is fully operational and able to protect the building and its users in the event of an electrical storm. If repairs are required, PTSG’s engineers can deliver these too – part of a full portfolio of services.
