A leading brand of electrical consumer products has contracted Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) to deliver specialist fire and security services.
The company founded in Germany in 1921. Its design aesthetic from the 1960s through the 1980s is well-known. These included products such as electric shavers, radiograms and record players. Others are movie cameras, slide projectors, clocks, and small kitchen appliances.
It is now a subsidiary of Procter & Gamble, producing products in categories such as shaving and grooming (electric shaving, hair trimming, beard trimming), oral and beauty care (hair care and epilation). Others are health and wellness (ear thermometers, blood pressure monitors) (out-licensed). The company also out-licenses food and drink preparation equipment. These products, including coffee makers, coffee grinders, toasters, blenders, and juicers, are known specialties of the company. The brand out-licenses other products, including irons, clocks, watches, and calculators.
In this contract, engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will be delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM). The service covers fire alarms, air sampling, CCTV for a three-year period, with potential to work at 15 sites nationally.
PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd is the largest of the Group’s five independent business divisions. The other four are PTSG Access & Safety Ltd, PTSG Electrical Services Ltd, PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd and PTSG Water Treatment Ltd.
