Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist fire solutions for a British multinational public transport company headquartered in Sunderland.
The company was originally established in 1938 as T Cowie Ltd. Initially focused on the sale of motorcycles, it relaunched shortly after the Second World War by Tom Cowie. It is now one of the UK’s leading providers of bus transport and a pan-European passenger transport partner.
The company’s 35,500 employees connect millions of people safely, reliably and sustainably to people. Places and venues they value. This includes providing bus and train services, but also offer coach, tram and bike-sharing services. It also provide on-demand and Mobility as a Service solutions.
In this contract, engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) for the Sunderland headquartered company, to multiple fire safety assets at 36 sites for the client. For PTSG, fire safety is the foundation upon which all buildings are constructed. Rigorous regular testing of fire safety assets should form part of every comprehensive fire safety strategy.
