Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has secured a contract to deliver specialist electrical services at London Heathrow Airport.
Heathrow Airport, called London Airport until 1966 and now known as London Heathrow, is the main international airport serving London, the capital of the United Kingdom. It is the largest of the six international airports in the London airport system.
PTSG has a successful history of delivering specialist services at Heathrow airport. Its Fire Solutions division has been providing fire and life safety systems since 2011.
Its team achieved the LPS1204 accreditation for fire suppression in 2015 following a number of tough audits by the Building Research Establishment (BRE). Following the work of Trinity’s net zero strategy team, its operation in England’s busiest airport now meets the requirements of main contractor MACE, certifying it as net zero.
In this contract, engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd will provide a test and inspection of the lightning protection system at Terminal 2. This will protect the structure and all users in the event of an electrical storm.
