Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist electrical services at Phase 6 of the Beam Park development in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.
Beam Park is the strategic development by Countryside Properties (CPUK) straddling former Ford land in both Barking and Dagenham and Havering proposing 3,900 homes and a wide range of other facilities. Phase 6 will provide 559 new homes within five separate buildings. Phase 6 will provide 559 new homes within five separate buildings. These homes will be a mix ranging from 1-bedroom apartments up to 3-bedroom family-sized units. As with the rest of Beam Park, 50% of phase 6 homes will be affordable.
Beam Park lies adjacent to Dagenham Green – the former Ford Stamping Plant coming forward for a further 3,502 homes. Beam Park is one of the Borough’s Transformation Areas set out in the draft Local Plan, moving away from low density industrial space to new communities with significant open space and green links, community and commercial facilities and new schools.
Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd will install a new lightning protection system to protect the residential structures. The system will also see to the protection of all residents in the event of an electrical storm.

They also carry out testing and inspection, which is required by law at least every year. This is apart from any remedial work that may be required as a result.
