The 425,000-square-foot covered shopping mall opened in October 2006. London-based architects, Chapman Taylor, designed the building and built by Bovis Lend Lease, thus receiving a mixed reception. However, the shopping centre itself won two retail industry national awards within its first year, one of which was the Retail Week magazine’s “Shopping Location of the Year”.
In this contract, engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will replace existing obsolete Kentec fire alarm panels with advanced panels, re-programme and provide full cause and effects testing and graphics.
