Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is in the process of renewing its contract to provide services throughout 2020 with long-established client Big Yellow (and Armadillo).
The Group’s Fire Solutions division has held a contract with Big Yellow since 2011, providing vital maintenance services for the dry risers installed at its stores.
Big Yellow is the UK’s brand leader in self-storage. The company operates from a platform of 84 stores, including 14 stores branded as Armadillo Self Storage, in which Big Yellow has a 20% interest. The company states that its intention is to take the hassle away from moving house, setting up a business or a DIY project – which are often deemed some of the most stressful things in life.
PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd is an area of huge growth for the Group. In dry risers maintenance, PTSG’s engineers handle between 250 and 400 jobs per week from its north-west office alone. With 14 offices around the UK dedicated to providing fire solutions (part of the Group’s total of 29 nationwide offices), PTSG’s engineers can be mobilised to attend practically any job, anywhere involving: fire detection and suppression equipment and services, security systems (CCTV, access control, intruder alarm and door entry systems), public address/voice alarm systems (PA/VA) and all-important service support and maintenance packages.
