Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver vital testing and inspection services at sites nationwide for Dunelm.
Dunelm is now one of the United Kingdom’s largest home furnishings retailers. With its company headquarters in Syston, Leicestershire, the company has 184 stores spread across the UK. It also operates a factory for curtains, blinds and accessories in Leicester.
For ‘The Home of Homes’, engineers from PTSG Access & Safety Ltd will be carrying out the testing and inspection of fall protection systems in place at 107 sites – more than half of Dunelm’s UK stores.
Fall protection systems enable operatives to safely access all areas of every kind of building to carry out their work maintenance and cleaning work. PTSG’s testing and inspection and subsequent maintenance work ensures fall protection equipment remains in first-class operational condition. Systems are subject to year-round weathering, which is why testing and inspection is carried out at suitable intervals. Any imperfections that have developed can then be dealt with so that system can be certified as safe.
