Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is on site at the RSPCA’s site in Dorrington, Lincolnshire, to provide specialist electrical services.
At any one time, Gonsal (Dorrington) provides temporary homes to over 150 animals, many needing intense rehabilitation in preparation for rehoming and the chance to start new lives. During a decade at the RSPCA’s centre in Dorrington, staff have found new homes for over 10,000 animals ranging in size from a tiny hamster to a magnificent mare.
In 2015 Gonsal Farm Animal Centre rehomed 539 animals: 106 equines, 275 cats, 82 dogs, 40 rabbits and 36 other animals, including hamsters, birds and guinea pigs.
The RSPCA is the largest animal welfare charity in the UK. It is funded primarily by voluntary donations. Its patron is Queen Elizabeth II.
Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd are on site to undertake a test and inspection of the lightning protection system in place at the centre. This will determine whether any maintenance or repairs are required to ensure it remains fully operational – complying with the Electricity at Work Act 1989, BS6651 and BS EN 62305.
