Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has completed a specialist high-level cleaning project at a new 82-metre-high development in Newington Causeway, South London.

The Kite is a 143,915 square-feet mixed-use scheme in the heart of Elephant and Castle designed by SPPARC. The development involved transforming previously disused garage buildings to create a 24-storey tower comprising of a 140-room hotel, 48 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. The triangular shape of the site presented the opportunity to create an interesting geometric object. The kite form of the tower is informed by the angle of the building’s sharp point, and its relationship to Newington Causeway.

Rope access engineers from PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd have delivered a full clean of the exterior cladding and windows of this new high-rise development, which is a significant amount of work.

PTSG’s operatives are IRATA-trained in rope access techniques and can quickly, easily and safely access all areas of buildings to do their work. They also use mobile elevating work platforms and scaffolding where necessary to complete a range of high-level repairs, cleaning and installations, as well as roof surveys and other bespoke projects.
