Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has delivered specialist electrical services at one of Manchester’s major trauma centres.
Wythenshawe Hospital is a major acute teaching hospital recognised as a centre of clinical excellence. It provides district general hospital services and specialist tertiary services to the local community in South Manchester.
Its fields of specialist expertise include cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, heart and lung transplantation, respiratory conditions, burns and plastics, cancer and breast care services. They are available to the people of South Manchester, but also to patients from across the North West and beyond.
Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd have completed repairs to the lightning protection system in place at the facility. PTSG is relied upon to test, inspect and maintain lightning and surge protection systems at buildings and structures of all kinds throughout the UK, including a great many hospitals.
Since the start of the year, the Group’s specialists have installed a new lightning protection system at Bournemouth Hospital on the south coast and repaired the system at Worcestershire Royal Hospital. Meanwhile, engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd have returned to NHS Nightingale Exeter to deliver fire and security assets as the hospital once again becomes a Covid treatment centre.
