Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been delivering specialist fire and security systems to an acute general hospital in Dorset.
Managed by the University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust, the hospital has 723 beds, including a specialist Cardiac Intervention Unit. On 3 November 2021, a ceremony was carried out to mark the start of construction work on building a new wing. The project is part of a £250 million reorganisation of healthcare in Dorset.
PTSG’s Fire Solutions specialists have been delivering upgrades to the fire alarm systems, as well as hardware asset management (HAMs), for the last two years. Further works ongoing works include maintenance contracts from 31 Notifier ID3000 panels to 44 Notifier ID3000 panels – with more to be added to the scope of works.
PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd is the largest of the Group’s five independent business divisions. In addition to fire detection and alarm systems, its specialists install test and maintain fire suppression systems, provide passive fire services as well as a range of security systems and assets.
