Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist fire solutions at Vortex House, in Liverpool’s Wavertree Technology Park.
Vortex House occupies a prime position within Vortex Court, which comprises three contemporary office buildings in an attractive landscaped environment. It offers 22,900 square feet of modern accommodation, plus ample car parking for visitors.
In this contract, technicians from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd are delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to 51 internal fire doors, four times per year. PPM is an effective strategy which, through proactive inspections and maintenance or repair work, prevents any issues or problems before they can occur.
Fire doors are in integral part of any passive fire programme of protection within a building. PTSG’s teams routinely supply and install dire doors in addition to carrying out testing and inspection and follow-up repair or maintenance work. Other passive fire systems PTSG delivers include fire-rated glazing, fire curtains and cavity barriers, fire stopping and penetration sealing, fire compartmentation, fire and smoke damper testing and maintenance and ventilation and ductwork cleaning.
