Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is currently engaged in a project to fire-proof a refurbished office block close to St Paul’s Cathedral in the City of London.
Rope access technicians from PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd are engaged in a major two-month programme to carry out works to make the refurbished building fire-proof to safeguard all users.
The City of London is a city, ceremonial county and local government district that contains the historic centre and constitutes, alongside Canary Wharf, the primary central business district (CBD) of London. Aside from St Paul’s Cathedral, other notable sites include Royal Exchange, Mansion House, Old Bailey and Smithfield Market.
This is one of a great many projects in which PTSG’s use rope access or abseil techniques to carry our high-level cleaning, repairs, installations or site surveys. Widely considered to be the safest for of access to buildings, rope access allows engineers to quickly and easily move horizontally and laterally to reach all areas in order to carry out their work.
