Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has completed a specialist services project at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in Dundee which illustrates the agility and capability of its engineers.
When PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd was contracted to clean the windows at the V&A, its engineers employed rope access techniques to perform their usual high standard of service, as the photograph shows.
The V&A Dundee is the first design museum in Scotland and the first V&A (Victoria and Albert) museum to be opened outside of London. It is also the first building in the United Kingdom that has been designed by Kengo Kuma. The unusual and visually striking nature of the building added an extra element of challenge for PTSG’s engineers!
The Group’s IRATA-trained engineers use industrial rope equipment to service buildings and structures of all kinds, built in different eras for hugely diverse functions. Blackpool Tower, Wembley Park and Lincoln’s Waterside shopping centre are just some of the other structures PTSG has worked on during the past year, calling on its industrial rope access experts to get the best results.
