Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist fire solutions at Finsbury Dials, which occupied 0,75 acres in the heart of London’s financial district.
The 141,000-square-foot office property, which is made up of lower ground, ground and six upper floors, has been renovated into an EPC A-rated best-in-class asset. It was originally well-built, with ceiling heights of nine feet on the lower ground and second to sixth floors and ten feet on the ground and first floors. Typical floorplates are approximately 19,000 square feet and a full-height atrium extends over the main entrance and reception area. The property is located at the intersection of Chiswell Street and Finsbury Street in EC2, London’s financial district, just north of Moorgate Station and the future Crossrail station.
In this contract, engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will deliver a new sprinkler system. Fire sprinklers are widely recognised as the single most effective method of fighting the spread of fires in their early stages. Around 90% of building fires are controlled by fewer than four sprinkler heads.
