Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been successful in retaining its contract for a third year to supply a range of specialist services to Vertas.
Vertas is a fast-growing multi-service facilities management company headquartered in Ipswich and with its roots firmly in the public sector. It now serves a wide range of sectors from catering and hospitality to landscape design and energy consultancy.
Engineers from three of PTSG’s four business divisions will provide chimney repair services, test lightning protection systems and test and inspect fall arrest systems on the façade of assets across the entire Vertas estate.
The chimney repairs will be carried out by engineers from PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd. Steeplejacking is a highly specialised niche technique, often practised and perfected over many years. It is used to maintain and protect structures such as church steeples and industrial chimney stacks. Today, PTSG is the market leader in the high-level maintenance industry, servicing clients worldwide, carrying out work to various building elements such as chimney stacks, cooling towers, flare stacks and other high and unconventional structures.
