Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is delivering specialist building access services at the Derby headquarters of Rolls Royce.
Derby was (and still is) the `home’ of the famous Rolls Royce Engineering Company which designed, built and developed the Merlin engine that was used to power both the Spitfire and Hurricane fighter planes during the Second World War. The business was incorporated as Rolls-Royce Limited in 1906, and a new factory in Derby was opened in 1908. The First World War brought the company into manufacturing aero-engines. About 52,000 people work for the engine-maker globally, and the company employs about 9,000 people at its Derby headquarters.
Engineers from PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd are currently engaged in a two-week project in which they are carryout roofing works, which includes cutting-edge anti-corrosion works.
PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd is one of the fasted-growing areas of the Group. It now has many different teams working throughout the UK delivering specialist installations, maintenance, cleaning and steeplejack services, as well as building fabric surveys, access equipment hire and siphonic drainage.
