Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been awarded a place on a framework to supply specialist passive fire services to members of EN Procure, a not-for-profit procurement consortium.
Established in 2006, the consortium serves the construction procurement needs of the social housing landlord community in northern England. It uses a purchasing framework that is open for social housing landlords to use now and in the future – and in doing so, it saves them from having to go through the previous tender process.
Furthermore, the framework provider supports social housing landlords in putting contracts in place and with ongoing contract management.
Since its formation in 2006, the consortium has delivered over £100m of efficiencies with its members whilst maintaining a strong focus on our other core themes of workforce development, community investment and environmental sustainability.
In this contract, PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd (via constituent company Neo) can deliver Fire compartmentation works, installation and maintenance of fire doors at residences spanning the East Midlands, the North West and Yorkshire.
Components or systems in a building or structure comprise passive fire protection, slowing or impeding the spread of fire or smoke effects without system activation. It also includes:
- New or replacement fire protection as identified in the Employer’s fire risk assessment or compartmentation/stopping survey.
- Fire curtains and cavity barriers
- Fire stopping and penetration sealing
- Fire and smoke damper testing and maintenance
- Inspect (survey), maintain, repair and replace, fire doors, shutters and associated door related elements including door activators, side panels, top panels, glazed units together with making good where appropriate.
