Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist fire solutions for a flexible work space in Leeds.
Situated in Armley, a five-minute bike ride from Leeds city centre, the work space is described as a talented, inclusive community within a former grade II listed textile mill. It is a base for freelancers, businesses and remote workers; there is a vision for the building to be developed into an ecosystem of experience
In this contract, the client requested fire compartmentation for a riser that runs the height of the building over three floors. There are two access shafts that need compartmenting on each floor, amounting to six in total. Two operatives from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd attended the site for three days. A non-standard pipe section for the building’s heating and ventilation was required for the project, which PTSG’s team ordered from its approved supply chain.
