Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has completed a specialist electrical services project for Integral UK at Uniper’s Ratcliffe Energy Centre in Nottingham.
Uniper operates power stations at Connah’s Quay, Cottam Development Centre, Enfield, Grain, Killingholme, Ratcliffe-on-Soar, and Taylor’s Lane. The site in Ratcliffe that required a test and inspection of its Faraday lightning protection system is a two-storey educational building, constructed with a steel frame and with a metal clad roof.
Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd performed a test and inspection of the lightning protection system in place at educational centre. This is a statutory requirement to highlight any remedial work that may be needed to keep the system fully operation to protect the building and its users.
