Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has handed over a bespoke access solution at the London Development Project – a new-build multi-storey commercial building in Farringdon.
It represents another successful collaboration between PTSG Access & Safety Ltd. and Multiplex, the global construction company and main contractor on this major new project in the capital.
The two organisations have previously worked together on several significant projects in Central London. One Blackfriars Tower, known as The Vase due to its shape, is a mixed-use development in Bankside, London, which was completed in 2018.
PTSG installed three building maintenance units, which were fitted to integrate with the building’s moving doors – also designed and supplied by PTSG, to carry the intricate cladding panels and mask the garage area. This allows the BMUs to be concealed without any visual sign of the systems.
Multiplex is currently constructing Aykon London One – a £240 million residential development in Nine Elms on the South Bank, due for completion in December 2020. PTSG was contracted to apply its problem-solving skills in designing and installing a bespoke access solution.
