Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), through its constituent company Total Environmental Compliance (TEC), has made it to the shortlist in the ASCP Awards.
The Association of Safety Compliance Professionals (ASCP) is the leading community for safely managing social housing assets and wider facilities management. The ASCP Awards recognise the achievements of inspirational individuals and organisations within the social housing and facilities management sectors.
TEC delights in being a finalist in the ‘Net Zero of the Year’ category, which recognizes those who have implemented sustainable solutions for a greener future for their customers. Its water hygiene and treatment specialists have been delivering remote temperature monitoring for Change Grow Live (CGL) since 2022. With multiple sites spread nationwide, CGL presented TEC with the challenge of finding a cost-effective way of delivering weekly, fortnightly or monthly flushing and samples.
Working collaboratively with CGL, TEC installed remote monitoring equipment to manage the flushing and sample taking. TEC can attach this sustainable technology to CGL’s assets, enabling them to take the temperatures of the assets at any time. The sensors have many benefits, chiefly enabling TEC’s engineers to take temperatures more often, giving them a far more accurate take on how each asset is performing and enabling them to make effective recommendations based upon these results.
Ultimately, TEC has been able to avoid sending engineers to CGL’s sites to carry out manual temperature monitoring, thus helping the company to meet its carbon reduction targets. The technology has also delivered huge water and energy savings.
The ASCP Awards will be held on the evening of 12 June 2024 at Celtic Manor Resort, South Wales.
