Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is proud to announce that its Chairman, John Foley, has won the Peter Middup Lifetime Achievement in FM Award at the PFM Partnership Awards 2020.
John was one of the founding members of the Group. He and Chief Executive Paul Teasdale had the vision to meet a market need for a single provider of multiple expert services to the FM and construction sectors.
John has worked closely with Chief Executive Paul Teasdale over the last thirteen years to help the Group’s acquisition strategy to yield success, bringing expert business knowledge to the decision-making process.
John is a highly qualified professional, graduating with a BA Honours degree in Law (1977) before becoming a Barrister (1980) and Chartered Accountant (1981). Prior to co-founding PTSG, John was Chief Executive Officer of facilities management specialist MacLellan Group plc (MacLellan) from 1994 to 2006.
In 2006, the year MacLellan Group plc was acquired by Interserve PLC, the company announced record full-year results after a surge in pre-tax profits of 244 per cent. Earnings came in at just over £5 million compared with £1.4 million the year before.
His drive, business acumen and honest hard work were largely responsible for this success – qualities that have been equally important in the rapid growth of PTSG.
John received the Peter Middup Lifetime Achievement in FM Award at the PFM Partnership Awards 2020 during a virtual ceremony on 17th March (delayed from November last year due to the COVID pandemic). Our warmest congratulations go to John from everyone at PTSG.
