Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is pleased to be delivering specialist fire solutions at a major residential conference centre in Brighton.
The Hilton Brighton Metropole is a 4-star hotel and conference centre located on the seafront in Brighton, East Sussex. The architect was Alfred Waterhouse, who also was architect of University College London and the Natural History Museum, London. Currently the UK’s largest residential conference centre in the South of England, it was built in 1890 and has 340 bedrooms.
Engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will be delivering refurbishment works to the sprinkler system in place at the hotel and conference centre. Sprinklers are recognised as the most effective fire suppression system in residential and commercial buildings.
Commercial and industrial sprinkler systems are designed and installed to a number of standards, in the UK mainly to BS EN 12845 incorporating the LPCB Technical Bulletins, but also to EN 12845 (European Standard), NFPA and FM Global Standards (both North American Standards).
