Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has begun work to provide specialist electrical services at St John’s, Manchester newest city centre neighbourhood.
St. John’s is a £1bn transformation of a six-hectare plot, developed by Manchester Quays Ltd (MQL). Upon completion, it will be a neighbourhood containing 320 hotel bedrooms, 560,000 square feet of workspace, 240,000 square feet of retail and 13 acres of public realm.
Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd recently began work at the site, where they are installing below-ground lightning protection and protective earthing systems for main contractor Adana Construction.
PTSG’s engineering teams work throughout the UK, delivering multiple specialist services for customers for a wide variety of industry sectors. It has worked on numerous projects in Manchester, which has undergone an unprecedented period of development over the last few years, with many more plans waiting for approval.
Another new neighbourhood which recently benefitted from PTSG’s services is Middlewood Lock, offering living and working spaces as well as a range of shops, restaurants, bars and public open spaces. The Group’s engineers installed lightning and earthing protection here too, ensuring the safety and peace of mind of residents and facilities users.
