The Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley, has contracted Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) to provide specialist Electrical Services.
As the main hospital in Paisley, West Scotland, the RAH serves a large catchment area stretching to Oban and Argyll. Managed by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is an NHS board in West Central Scotland. It came into existence from the amalgamation of NHS Greater Glasgow and part of NHS Argyll and Clyde on 1 April 2006
Royal Alexandra Hospital has 760 staffed beds and contains the only consultant-led maternity unit for the upper Clyde area. This is after the maternity wards at Inverclyde Royal Hospital and Vale of Leven Hospital became midwife-led in 2003.
In this contract, engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd will carry out a test and inspection of the lightning protection system in place at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. This is a mandatory periodic test required by law and carried out by PTSG’s specialists at many hospitals and health providers.
PTSG Electrical Services Ltd combines the talent and experience of some of the UK’s leading practitioners in their field. Subsequent companies acquired in the south-west, north-west, midlands and Scotland give PTSG a national reach.
