Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has won a new contract which will see its engineers return to Sheffield Hallam University to deliver lightning protection services.

The Group has provided a range of specialist services for the university over the past few years. In this new contract, engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd. will test and maintain the lightning protection system in place at the campus, with the opportunity to upgrade some of the systems on older Unite buildings currently under redevelopment.

PTSG has a large buildings portfolio in the education sector and has partnered with Unite for a number of years. The Group’s engineers visit designated UNITE sites across the UK to assess compliance and to deliver planned and unscheduled maintenance.

PTSG previously carried out Working at Height (WaH) training across the whole of UNITE’s UK portfolio to ensure its FM team is fully trained in the safe use and operation of the fall arrest equipment.
