Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has secured a contract to deliver specialist fire and security services for a council in West Sussex.
The local authority consists of 36 councillors. 9The administrative headquarters are at Crawley Town Hall. The Labour Party, led by Michael Jones, currently controls it. The council purpose-built the building and formally opened it on 21 March 2023. It was built on the site of the old Civic Hall, part of the previous Town Hall complex, which had been completed in 1964 for the old urban district council.
In this contract, engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to assets. This includes fire alarms, access control systems and fire doors for properties owned by the council.
PTSG Fire Solutions is the largest of the Group’s five divisions and will provide specialist fire solutions to the retailer. It boasts a comprehensive range of fire and security solutions for customers in all industry sectors. These include dry and wet risers, fire hydrants and pumps, sprinkler systems (and sprinkler pump maintenance). Others are fire detection and life safety systems, fire and smoke damper inspection and testing. PTSG also provides security systems, passive fire services, ventilation and ductwork – as well as support service maintenance.
On 1 March the division grew further when PTSG confirmed the acquisition of Flame Control, based in the Harderwijk municipality of the Netherlands. The company specialises in fire alarm systems, first aid, evacuation, extinguishing systems and extinguishing agents.
