Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has secured a significant contract to provide specialist electrical services at Leuchars Station on the east coast of Scotland.
Leuchars Station is a British Army installation near to the historic town of St Andrews. Formerly RAF Leuchars, it was the second most northerly air defence station in the United Kingdom. The station ceased to be an RAF station in April 2015 when control of the site was transferred to the Army.
In late October 2020, it was confirmed by the Ministry of Defence that they were looking into increasing both civilian and military usage of the airfield at Leuchars with the re-installation of F34 fuel facilities, however there would be no aircraft based permanently.
Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd will design, supply, install and commission a brand-new lightning protection system for multiple buildings on the Leuchars Station St Andrews PH5 upgrade works.
