Terry Wilcock, one of the directors from the HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) department of Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has completed a Workplace Wellbeing Lead Training course. This builds on the Group’s proactive approach of having a nationwide network of qualified health and wellbeing specialists available for its 3,000 people.

A positive wellbeing culture ensures that staff have manageable workloads. As a group, we should offer alternatives whenever possible to help achieve an acceptable work/life balance.

The role of a wellbeing lead typically involves the following responsibilities:

  1. developing workplace wellbeing lead strategies and courses aligned with organisational objectives;
  2. designing and delivering wellbeing programmes and initiatives;
  3. improving organisational health and wellbeing literacy through training programmes; and
  4. providing leadership, advice, and support to a multidisciplinary team.
