Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to supply specialist electrical testing services at London’s Tate Modern.
Tate Modern is a modern art gallery located on London’s South Bank in the former Bankside Power Station. It is Britain’s national gallery of international modern art and forms part of the Tate group (together with Tate Britain, Tate Liverpool, Tate St Ives and Tate Online). Tate Modern is one of the largest museums of modern art in the world, and is the UK’s most visited museum, with 5.9 million visitors in 2018.
Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd are currently performing a test and inspection of the lightning protection systems in place at the gallery. This is a legal requirement and will highlight any repair work that may be required to ensure the system remains operationally efficient to protect the huge, iconic structure and all staff and visitors.
