Welcome to the April edition of Inside PTSG.
I would like to start this issue by reflecting on PTSG’s final results for 2016. These are the strongest financial results we have reported in our 10 years of business and it is clear that this outstanding performance is underpinned by our commitment to exceptional customer service, quality and efficiency.
We can be optimistic about our future, with continuing growth and a good number of orders in hand, but we will not become complacent; success can breed complacency and complacency will only lead to failure. I am proud of the dedication and commitment our people demonstrate in their work for PTSG and firmly believe this is what has enabled us to serve our customers at the highest level and, of course, in the safest way possible.
In the past month, we were pleased to learn we have been awarded a sixth consecutive International Safety Award from the British Safety Council. This, coupled with the recent announcement of our sixth RoSPA Gold Award, highlights our industry-leading dedication to best practice in health and safety and is testament to the lengths our teams go to in order to ensure our sites are as safe as possible at all times.
We were also named Fast Growth Business of the Year at the 2017 Yorkshire Business Masters Awards, a wonderful honour achieved in the company of some of the region’s most high-profile businesses. This award is evidence of our impressive growth in only 10 years and is a great indication of what the future holds for the company.
