Services
Fire Doors
Our specialist teams work with various accredited suppliers to provide clients with the most appropriate, specification compliant and cost-effective solutions. Through years of industry experience and formal training, our team understand the role played by each component, ensuring both FIRAS and BM Trada Q Mark certification schemes are satisfied for each installation.
On completion and prior to issuing formal FIRAS certification, the unique attributes of each installation are recorded on tablet computers with integrated mobile technology, comprising clearly identifiable labelling, post-installation photographs, system product data and installer credentials. Once released, this data is issued as part of a comprehensive suite of building management information. Using our field-based i-Audit system, we also provide fire door surveys.
Fire Glazing
We understand the importance of maintaining compartmentation lines in buildings, comprising glazed screens, partitions and glazed panels. Whether part of an in-depth Fire Compartmentation Survey performed to determine existing asset condition, part of an annual inspection programme required for high-risk buildings or following any alteration work to the building, we hold the skills necessary to ensure the structure achieves full compliance.
Fire Compliance Surveys
Inadequate or incorrectly installed passive fire protection systems have the potential to cause premature loss of building structure or worse still, life. Our specialist survey teams are on hand to perform fire compartmentation surveys as part of one-off condition assessments, following any alteration work or, as part of an annual inspection programme required to high-risk buildings.
Fire Stopping
Our FIRAS-accredited fire stopping teams undertake fire stopping in areas including penetrations and/or voids in fire compartment walls, partitions and floors. Quality controlled, scenario-based assessments are used to assess each penetration and determine the most effective fire stopping system.
The various systems we use include ablative-coated mineral fibre batt, gypsum based fire mortars and intumescent mastic sealants, ensuring full protection against fire and smoke.
Fire Curtains and Cavity Barriers
We are highly trained in using fire curtains and cavity barriers to prevent the rapid spread of fire in concealed spaces within buildings.
