Welcome to Inside PTSG.
April saw a drop in inflation to its lowest level in two-and-a-half years, driven largely by slowing food prices. However, while the cost of some household items fell, prices overall are still rising, just less quickly than previously. And with petrol and diesel prices still rising, uncertainty over economic growth remains.
Within the construction and FM sectors, many of the trade publications have reported on the evolving landscape of legislation and regulations such as The Building and Safety Act 2022 and the Fire Safety Regulations (England) 2022. As a leading provider of specialist services, PTSG guarantees compliance with such regulations, not just in the area of fire safety but also electrical services, working at height and water hygiene.
Our 20,000+ customers trust us to ensure their buildings are compliant with all regulations, and we are pleased to give them reassurance on a regular basis, keeping their assets safe, clean and protected in the process.
In this month’s issue of Inside PTSG, a project recently completed by our Building Access Specialists demonstrates the capability and versatility of our rope access specialists. They are able to safely carry out their work at height in all kinds of environments without impacting on the normal operations of their clients.
This month’s insight takes a closer look at the work of our Access & Safety engineers – again, they perform safety-critical services to ensure that maintenance work can be carried our safely on all kinds of buildings.
I wish you all the best and look forward to keeping you informed of further updates from throughout the Group.
Best wishes
Paul Teasdale
